This fully beaded 1920's evening dress is simple in cut but delightfully complex in style with its intricate pattern of silver, gold and platinum teardrop diamond beadwork and sequins.
Dress is made of cream silk net, sequins and glass bugle beads. Inside construction of dress has a drop-waist band that hits the wearer across the groin and clings to the thighs. Band measures 35", the rest of the dress measures 36" wide from the bust, waist, and all the way down in typical 20's fashion.
Gown is pictured over a marigold yellow 1920's silk slip which is not included, but may be purchased separately for $90.00.
Condition of the gown is excellent with a few minor flaws. There are about 4 loose threads of beads/sequins which are not broken, so the beading isn't falling off. There is also a small 1" x 1" patch on the right hip where the net is bare, some of the small silver beads are gone, and two more 1cm x 1cm bare patches on the right waist. The flaws are not very noticable and hardly detract from its overall beauty.
